Jaclyn is looking for another house
Jaclyn is sadly looking through advertisements for houses when Gerwyn comes in with a doughnut for his mother;
"Other houses are too expensive"
“Other houses in Aberporth are too expensive,” Jaclyn tells him, but he is confident they will find somewhere.
Brenda is a doughnut addict
Brenda wonders if they have to live in Aberporth, and Jaclyn replies, “We like it there – I was going to have a nautical theme in the house.”
Brenda protests that they could give this house a nautical look,
"There's a shop, surgery and pub here"
and Gerwyn points out that there is a shop, a surgery, a pub, but Jaclyn worries that the children would have to change schools.   “At least, they wouldn’t have to travel to Cardigan every day,” he adds, “It’s worth considering.”
"I'll call in later to collect the cheque"
Siôn phones Jason, leaving a message that he will call in later to collect the cheque, and would like to talk about renovating Morawel.
"Do you want to renovate it immediately?"
Anita did not realise that he wanted to renovate the house immediately;
He wants to prove something to the police
“There’s no better way of showing the police I don’t intend to run away with the insurance money,” he replies, “Anyway, we’ll have to renovate it eventually.”
"We'll be busy with Kelly's wedding"
Anita seems to be losing interest;  “There’s such a mess there – and we’ll be busy with Kelly’s wedding.”
"This is something we're doing together"
Siôn insists that Morawel is their project – something they are doing together.
Then Kelly arrives, full of the joys of spring, calling herself, “The bride of the year!”
"Don't forget the fire"
Anita explains her lack of excitement by reminding Kelly of the fire.   “Everybody’s discussing it – but are you in the mood for talking weddings?
"A tasteful village wedding, right?"
“I’ve got loads to organise!” Kelly squeals, “I was thinking a tasteful village wedding, right?   Bethania, bunting, daffodils – beautiful!”
Siôn offers his services
Siôn is going to see Jason, and offers that if she is looking for someone to walk her down the aisle, it would be an honour.   “Actually, I had sort of thought of doing a Meghan Markle,” begins Kelly,
"I doubt if Prince Charles will be available"
but Anita doubts that Prince Charles will be available.
"No – walking down the aisle on my own!"
“No – walking down the aisle on my own!” Kelly continues, “Like, a moment in the doorway with the music.   Bethania is not as big as Windsor Castle.”
Anita thinks that Siôn being involved is a lovely idea, but Kelly does not agree;
"It's mine and Ed's wedding!"
“It’s mine and Ed’s wedding!”   Siôn tells her to forget it, and leaves the house.
Now Sara has set her heart on a £2,000 kitchen dresser
Sara is looking online at a kitchen dresser;  Jason comes in, and is just listening to the message which Siôn left, about calling in for the cheque.
"Imagine it in here, Jason!"
Sara tells him, “Look at this – New England Shaker kitchen dresser – it’s lovely!   Imagine it in here!”
"Are we going to live in it?   It's huge!"
Jason is less enthusiastic;  “Are we going to live in it?   It’s huge, Sara!”   She is intending to design the new kitchen around it, as they have a decent deposit, and could borrow a bit more on the mortgage.
"It's a really good price today!"
She maintains that it is a really good price until the end of today.   “We haven’t even bought the house yet!” protests Jason, but Sara regards that as a formality.
"I could lose my job"
Jason begs to differ;  “Look, anything could happen – I could lose my job.   Dai isn’t talking to me, after what happened at Morawel.”   Sara says that Dai is only sulking, and wonders why Jason is not at work now.   “Because he forced me to work throughout the weekend – every night until ten!” Jason moans, “And I’m tired out.”
"I'm tired of waiting to buy nice things for our home!"
Sara flies into a rage;  “I’m tired too, Jason – tired of waiting to buy nice things for our home!”   He comments that she will just have to wait a bit longer,
"All the money you've wasted, gambling!"
but she goes on, “It isn’t right – all the money you’ve wasted, gambling!   And we’ve got nothing to show for that!”   She walks out of the house.
"We've set a date – 4 March!"
Kelly comes into the café and tells Jaclyn that they have set a date for their wedding, 4 March.
"Getting married is not worth it!"
Sara has just walked in, and remarks, “Getting married is not worth it!”   Kelly is quite adamant that Ed is worth it, and Jaclyn is happy with her husband, but mentions that his mother is the problem.   “How do you cope with Brenda living with you?” enquires Sara.
"Nobody wants to talk about the wedding"
Kelly complains that no-one wants to talk about the wedding;  “They’re all too busy talking about the fire, Siôn and the police.”    Sara recommends they should keep the wedding low key, bearing in mind there has been no change in Sioned’s condition.
"Just like her to die on my wedding day!"
Kelly snarls, “Thanks a bunch, Sar – it would be just like her to die on my wedding day!”   Then she realises what she has said,
"Oh, no!   I'm Bridezilla!"
and gasps, “I’m Bridezilla!   Something awful’s going to happen now, just to punish me!   Tell Jason I’m sorry – I called him one of the Walking Dead earlier!   Actually, that’s what he looked like.”
"You're not the only one who needs to apologise"
Sara explains that he is really stressed at the moment;  “To be honest with you, you’re not the only one who needs to apologise.”   Kelly is eager to know more.
Gerwyn is hard at work
Gerwyn is working on a car in the garage when Siôn apologises for not coming to see him immediately after the fire;
"I've been questioned by the police"
he confirms what Gerwyn had heard, that it was arson, and complains that he has been questioned by the police.
"They must think it's an insurance job"
“The owner is always the prime suspect if they think it’s an insurance job,” Gerwyn remarks, “They must think that if they spoke to you.”
Siôn is becoming angry;  “Does everybody think I did it?
"After everything I've done for you and your family!"
“Thanks a lot – after everything I’ve done for you and your family!”
He has just walloped the wheelie bin as he passed
He walks off along the street, hitting a wheelie bin in his rage.
Jason is in a tremendous hurry . . .
Jason sees him coming, and rushes into the chippy to hide;
. . . to hide from Siôn
he crouches down out of sight, and is informed by Ed that they are not open yet.
"Sorry, I'm trying to avoid Mam"
Jason explains to him that he is trying to avoid his mother.   Ed says that he is just the person, as one of the cupboard doors is broken, and he would like it fixed;  “I’ll pay you cash.”
"£10,000 would come in handy!"
Jason asks how much, and mutters, “£10,000 would come in handy!” then realises what he has said.
Ed wonders what is the problem, and tells him he looks ill.
"You know when someone's done something wrong"
“Yes, I am ill,” Jason admits, “Do you know when someone’s done something wrong – and they know it’s wrong – but they can’t do anything about it, because they’ve been telling lies to everyone?
Ed does not like where this is leading . . .
“And with every day that passes, they’re as close as this to being caught!”
Ed is being troubled by his conscience, assuming Jason is referring to him and asks what Jason is trying to say.   Jason protests that he is not saying anything, but Ed is desperate for more details;
. . . and demands an explanation from Jason . . .
“Tell me!” he demands, seizing Jason, who has had enough of this irrational behaviour, and hurriedly leaves the chippy.
. . . then immediately regrets his actions
Now Ed is even more worried.
"On condition your mother goes home!
Jaclyn is doing the washing-up when Gerwyn returns home;  “I’ve been thinking,” she says, “If you want to stay in Cwmderi, that’s what I want too.   On two conditions – I can decorate this place the way I want – and your mother goes home!”
"I've had a misunderstanding with Siôn"
Now he is of the opinion that it is not a good idea to stay in the village;  “Having thought about it – look, we might not be able to stay in this house.   I have had a misunderstanding with Siôn – he thinks I’ve accused him of arson.”
"People shouldn't be so sensitive"
His mother has stopped watching the television, and interrupts, “People shouldn’t be so sensitive.”   He points out he only mentioned the police, and Siôn went off like a bomb.
"You and your mother have things to talk about!"
Jaclyn will go and apologise to Siôn, stressing that Gerwyn and his mother have things to talk about.
"Are you missing Llandysul?"
He begins, “Are you missing Llandysul?”
"Cwmderi is lovely"
but Brenda replies that Cwmderi is lovely.   “I could always take you home this afternoon, if you like,” he goes on,” but she prefers to stay here.
"Jaclyn thought you might like to go home"
“Jaclyn thought you might like to go home – she’s worried you might be homesick.”
Brenda agrees that she will go and pack now,
"I need an electric blanket . . ."
remarking, “Can we call in a shop on the way back?   I need an electric blanket – the boiler in the flat is on the blink –
". . . it's like Alaska in there!"
“it’s like Alaska in there!”
"We're going to sell Morawel!"
Siôn arrives home and shouts, “Anita – you were right – we’re going to sell Morawel!   Everyone thinks I burned the place down!”
"I want to keep it!"
She asks him how long he has taken any notice about what other people say, and she stresses she wants to keep Morawel.
“It’s important to us, as a couple,” she begins, but they are interrupted by the arrival of Jaclyn;
"Ger didn't mean to accuse you"
“I’ve come to apologise for what Ger said – he didn’t mean to accuse you – it came out wrong.”
"Well, I overreacted too"
Siôn admits that he also overreacted, and was not in a very good mood.
"Would you consider letting us rent the place long term?"
She goes on, “We’ve decided to stay in Cwmderi – is there any chance you would consider letting us rent the house long term?”
"We want to put our own stamp on the place"
Anita has not considered this, but Jaclyn is anxious to put their own stamp on the place;  Anita would like time to think about it, and Jaclyn leaves again.
“That would mean living together permanently,” says Anita,
"Would that be such a bad thing?"
and Siôn wonders if that is a bad thing.   “The rent would be useful, for renovating Morawel – and we’ve been getting on since I moved back in.”
"I enjoy having you here – most of the time!"
Siôn has enjoyed having her here – most of the time.   Anita’s mind is now made up;
They seem to have made a decision
“I think we’ve made a decision!”
"I'm not sure what happened earlier on"
Ed goes to see Jason, and is not quite sure what happened earlier;  “I didn’t understand what you were trying to say.”
"No, I wasn't making a lot of sense"
Jason agrees that he was not making a lot of sense.
"Is there anything I should know?"
“Is there something I should know?   A problem at home?”
"I shouldn't have dragged you into it"
“No, it’s personal – I shouldn’t have dragged you into it in the first place,” Jason assures him, which Ed finds somewhat of a relief.   Then Jason asks, “Are you all right?”
"It's the stress of organising the wedding"
Ed explains that he thought Jason was talking about something else, and misunderstood, but it was nothing important.   “The stress of organising the wedding is starting to tell,” he says.   Jason remarks that Kelly had plenty to say about the wedding earlier today, and Ed confesses that she is obsessed;
"Marrying Kelly is the most important thing in my life!"
“But marrying Kelly is the most important thing in my life now – nothing else matters.”
Anita gives Jaclyn the good news
Jaclyn receives a phone call from Anita, advising her of the good news;  then Gerwyn and his mother come back.
"I thought you were on the way to Llandysul"
“I thought you were on your way back to Llandysul,” Jaclyn comments, disappointedly
"The boiler has broken down"
but he tells her about the broken down boiler.   Then she tells him of her phone call;
"Anita will let us rent long term!"
“Anita is willing to let us rent long term.”   Gerwyn is grateful to her for sorting it out.
Jaclyn is becoming fed up with her mother-in-law
However Jaclyn is not so happy that her mother-in-law is still there, tucking into another doughnut, and issuing orders to them.
"Apart from that blinkin' stupid dresser!"
Sara comes home in a more conciliatory mood, and tells Jason to sit down and is sorry for what she said earlier, but he stops her and says she was right;  “Apart from that blinkin’ stupid dresser, of course!”
"I'm going to cook something really nice for us"
She is going to cook something really nice for them, but then realises she has forgotten the wine;  as she opens the door, Siôn is about to knock on it.
"My phone has been playing up"
Jason gives the excuse that his phone has been playing up, and Siôn reports that the police are leaving him alone for the moment.
"It's important to keep busy"
“It’s important to keep busy now, sorting out Morawel,” he says,
"Right, Siôn, I'll get the chequebook"
and Jason goes into the kitchen to find the chequebook.
He tears out the cheques . . .
He tears out the remaining cheques and throws them into the bin, then apologises to Siôn that the chequebook is empty;  “Typical!   I don’t believe this!” he exclaims,
. . . and Siôn is beginning to smell a rat
and a look of suspicion crosses Siôn’s face.   “I’ll transfer the money into your account, once Sara gets back with the laptop,” Jason promises.
"Just make sure you do, Jason!"
Siôn tells him, “Just make sure you do!”   Then as Jason appears very eager to get rid of him,
"Don't you want my bank details?"
he adds, “Don’t you want my bank details?” and he writes them down.
"Sorry for being a 'Bridezilla'!"
In the Deri, Kelly apologises to Anita for being a ‘Bridezilla’, and admits that she was really selfish;
"Sorry I wasn't more enthussiastic"
Anita is also apologetic for not showing more enthusiasm, but she is really excited about the wedding.
"I'm moving into Y Felin, officially!"
Then she announces, “I’m moving into Y Felin, officially!”
"Time to celebrate!"
Ed comes across with champagne and four glasses, as it is time to celebrate;
"He's transferring the money later"
Siôn joins them, advising that Jason is going to transfer the money later, as he did not have the laptop.
Siôn's bank details
At number 9, Jason hurriedly hides the piece of paper with Siôn’s bank details
"Which bottle of wine – red or white?"
as Sara asks which bottle of wine she should open.
"That silly dresser – I've bought it!"
He wonders what is going on, and she eventually admits, “That silly dresser – I’ve bought it!   Before you’ve even seen it – it was £2,000.”
"Well, you'll have to cancel it, Sara!"
He makes it quite clear that she will have to cancel it, but she says she has already paid a £1,000 deposit.
"I've done much worse"  — That's an understatement
“Sorry for telling lies and going behind your back,” she wails, but he says he has done much worse;  she assures you that everything will be all right.   “Our home will be like a little palace – you’ll see!
"Please say you forgive me!"
“Please say you forgive me!”
"You haven't done anything wrong!"
“Of course I forgive you – you haven’t done anything wrong,” he replies, with an anguished look in his eyes.
