"Aaron, let's talk!" |
"He's not happy he can't come to fetch his mother" |
"It's not easy telling a 13-year-old boy he can't do that" |
"Let's talk about this properly" |
"I don't want him to think he's being kicked out" |
"I want to see Mam, OK?" |
"We don't want her finding out about the court case" |
"Don't think I'm turning my back on you" |
"Yes, it would be easier for everyone" |
"I am coming home when she's back, right?" |
Dylan comes to check on Sara |
"We're sorry we have to leave" |
"Are you OK, after what happened with Hywel?" |
"Oh, it was nothing" |
"You're not usually here at this time" |
"Am I supposed to guess, or what?" |
"We're going to offer Kelly to help raise the baby" |
"And live together as a family" |
"Does Kelly know about this?" |
"No way will she agree!" |
"You didn't see her crying in the flat" |
Iolo thinks that she will be glad; “You didn’t see her crying in the flat.” Dani points out that this will change everything, and advises that they cannot use Kelly’s predicament as an excuse to have another baby.
She hopes that they will not be shocked when Kelly says no.
"Don't be shocked when she says no!" |
Are you ready, love?" |
"I like talking to people who understand" |
"The Care Co-ordinator will be in touch next week" |
"You've done very well" |
"Are you sure she's ready to come home?" |
"She has been assessed, and she is ready" |
"What do I do in the meantime?" |
"If there's an emergency, take her to A&E" |
Colin packs Britt's belongings |
The villagers are snapping up bargains at the stock clearance |
Kath selects certain items |
"How much for these – and the sewing machine?" |
"That's worth £300 new" |
"You'll only throw it in the skip" |
Then Kath suggests, “Or, I tell you what – £80 for the lot in lieu of redundancy – what do you think of that?”
DJ insists she will get nothing in lieu of anything, so she informs him, “I have to do what I’m doing to survive – £80 – in instalments,”
and she hands over the first instalment, picks up the sewing machine and leaves.
"You'll get nothing in lieu of anything!" |
Kath also wants to pay the £80 in instalments |
"She won't get far without this, DJ!" |
Britt is discharged from Coed y Glyn |
"We'll be home before long" |
"I've heard enough about the treatment and care plan" |
"How are you feeling, Kel?" |
"Will you try to go back to the flat?" |
"The best thing is to move out" |
"There was something we wanted to ask you" |
Iolo continues, “You’re on your own,”
and she indicates that had not escaped her notice, despite her being blonde. “Look, Kel, we think the world of you – and we want to help.
“We want to propose to you that you come and live with us, and we help you raise the baby – adopt.”
"Yes, that hasn't escaped my notice!" |
"Why don't you come and live with us?" |
"Aah – you want to adopt me?" |
"Don't feel under any pressure" |
Kelly is reduced to tears;
“That’s the nicest thing anyone’s done for me, ever,”
and they all three hold hands.
"That's the nicest thing anyone's done for me, ever" |
Kelly is really touched |
Britt's painting equipment is set up |
"I thought you might like to carry on with the painting" |
"A cup of tea, or something to eat?" |
"Have you heard from Aaron?" |
"Er . . . Lilleon" |
"I don't remember anything about a school trip" |
"Welcome home, Britt!" |
"I can't believe I've forgotten everything" |
When Colin goes into the kitchen to put the kettle on, Garry says that he is not sure about this school trip story; “She might feel better if she saw Aaron,”
but Colin is insistent that they have to stick to the story, and Garry is required to look after Aaron until after the court case.
"We have to stick to the story, Garry" |
"Where in France did you say he's gone?" |
Garry can see this not ending well |
Kelly closes the café |
"Did Iolo and Tyler come to see you?" |
"No, I'm not angry" |
"They didn't think it through properly" |
This makes Kelly stop and think for a moment,
and she says that she would never be angry with those two.
Dani reminds her that if she needs anything she only has to ask, and then leaves.
"I would never be angry with them" |
"If you need anything, you only have to ask" |
"She's all right, just a bit quiet" |
"Can't I pretend I'm calling from France?" |
He looks at Britt's photo on his phone . . . |
. . . and is missing her |
Dylan is back, to apologise |
"I shouldn't have been so nosy" |
"No, I was a bit oversensitive" |
Dylan gets down to work |
"OK, so I can't accept your offer" |
"You're amazing – and I'm super appreciative" |
"Me and Babs against the world!" |
"We'll do whatever you want" |
They are both in favour of this |
Britt has her passport and driver's licence . . . |
. . . which she wants Colin to keep |
"I didn't think I'd forget important things – but I have" |
"I'm here to look after you" |
She also want him to hide the car keys . . . |
. . . until she starts remembering important things |
Colin is now very worried |
Sara locks up for the last time |
Sara locks the door of Yr Antur for the last time; “There we go – the end of an era!” she tells Dylan, and thanks him for his help.
He reminds her, “When one door closes . . . you’ll find something before long, don’t worry,”
and she heads home to Bryntirion.
"You'll find something before long" |
Sara heads back to Bryntirion |
