"You should be home, nursing Tyler"
Iolo is just putting tools in the back of his van when he sees Dani coming out of the shop, and she says he ought to be at home, nursing Tyler;
"Kath is looking after Greta"
“He’s recovering – and Kath is looking after Greta,” he tells her.   Dani looks down her nose when he mentions Kath,
"I would have helped, you know"
and reminds him that she would have helped.   He  remarks, “Yes, I know – but I didn’t want to . . .
"I know about the baby, and I'm very sorry"
“I know about the baby, Dan, and I’m very sorry.”
She informs him that she is fine,
"You'd better go, or you'll be late"
and he had better go or he will be late.
Dani walks along the street . . .
As she walks along the road, past the two police officers who are outside the salon, Garry and Gwyneth are talking.
“Have you heard any more from the police?” she enquires, “Do you think they believed our story?”   He does not know the answer to that, and cannot decide whether it is a good or bad thing that they have not been in touch.
. . . approaching Garry and Gwyneth
“I don’t know what’s keeping Gwern – he was ready just now,” Garry goes on, and when Dani reaches them, Gwyneth thanks her for having him after school.
"I'm not sure how she is, to be honest"
Garry is not sure how Dani is, to be honest,
Dani's phone sounds . . .
and as she enters the Deri, she receives a reminder on her phone,
. . . as she is reminded that a scan was arranged
which reads, “Baby scan at 16:45,” which she does not look happy about.
First things first – put the kettle on
Mark arrives home at Maes-y-Deri, and finds that his mother is not there;  he turns on the kettle, takes out his phone and tries to contact Ricky.
"That annoying bloke you used to share a house with"
He has to leave a message;  “Hiya Ricky, it’s me – you know, that annoying bloke you used to share a house with.   I just wanted to check whether you’re OK, that’s all.   I haven’t heard from you for a few days, so give me a ring or a text.”
"Don't worry – I'm not staying"
Kath visits number 9 again;  “Don’t worry – I’m not staying.   I just wanted to know if the solicitor’s started on the paperwork for the divorce?   Don’t tell me – you haven’t been to see a solicitor!”
"I can't afford that"
Debbie argues that she has no money to pay for one – not a penny,
"That's not my problem!"
but Kath maintains, “That’s not my problem – oh, and give me Maes-y-Deri’s keys!   Do I look like I’m joking?”
The keys to Maes-y-Deri are handed over
Debbie reluctantly hands over the keys, just as Gwyneth and Gwern come in;
"You know what I'll do!"
“Remember what we agreed – or you know what I’ll do!” growls Kath, and she leaves with Greta.
"Will you go to the shop for me, Gwern?"
Gwyneth asks Gwern if he will go to the shop for her,
"I'm tired!"
but he is reluctant, saying that he is tired, so she bribes him;  “You can buy yourself something,” and that changes his mind.
"We can talk in a minute"
She will talk to Debbie in a minute.
"Would you like me to do some extra shifts?"
Behind the bar in the Deri, Cassie asks if Garry would like her to do some extra shifts this weekend, as she thought he would want to spend more time with Dani, after she has been in hospital.   He insists that it is not necessary, but thanks her for the offer.
When Dani approaches, he asks Cassie to check on the crisps out the back,
"We could go somewhere – the three of us"
and in her absence tells Dani, “Cassie’s offered to work extra shifts over the weekend – I thought we could go somewhere – you, me and Seren.”
"Another time, perhaps"
“Another time, perhaps,” is her casual reply, which he finds discouraging.
Tyler is busy on the laptop . . .
At number 7, Tyler is working on the laptop when someone walks in through the back door;
. . . when Aled comes in through the back door
it is Aled, and Tyler demands what he is doing there.   “Charming – I heard about the accident and I was worried,” Aled says, “You’re still in one piece.”
"You can't just walk in here!"
“You can’t just walk in here!” Tyler rages, and Aled says that he has been away,
"Oh, that was just a holiday romance"
explaining that the boyfriend in the picture he sent was just a holiday romance, which is now over.
“I could do with some romance now,” he goes on,
"I want you to leave!"
but is told to leave immediately;  “We could go somewhere together after I sit my exams next year,” Aled continues.
Tyler makes it quite clear he is not going anywhere, and wants to stay here with Iolo;
"You've wasted your time – just go!"
“You’ve wasted your time coming here, so just go!”   He returns to the laptop, but Aled is not discouraged,
"Up here, is it?"
but instead starts going upstairs, asking if that is the way, and Tyler chases after him.
Colin is counting the money in the till
In the shop, Colin is counting the money from the till when Iolo comes in,
"I haven't stopped all day, Col!"
complaining that he has not stopped all day;  Colin is glad to hear that Tyler is recovering.
"Fancy a pint this weekend, Col?"
The next customer is Mark, who wants to know if Colin fancies a pint this weekend, but he cannot, as he and Britt are still lodging at the Glyndwr;
"We want to take advantage of all the fancy facilities on offer"
“We want to take advantage of all the fancy facilities on offer.”   Mark interprets that as taking advantage of Garry.
Gwern's mother has forgotten his vulnerability
Gwern has come, unaccompanied, to the shop, and Colin wonders if he has enough money to pay for what he has the basket, but praises him for helping his mother.
"Have you got any white chocolate?   Mam likes that"
“Have you got any white chocolate?” Gwern asks, “Mam likes that.”
"I'm sure there's some out the back"
Colin thinks that there is some at the back, and goes to find out.
"Are you really happy?"
Up in Tyler’s bedroom, Aled picks up a photo of Iolo and Tyler and comments, “You’re too young for this!   You haven’t seen the world yet – are you really happy?”
Tyler protests that he is making things harder, but he goes on, “I wouldn’t stop you from doing whatever you wanted – do you know how hard this has been for me?
"I really like you, Tyler!"
“I really like you, Tyler.”
"Not now – not here!"
Tyler snarls, “Not now – not here!” so Aled concludes is that there is hope;  “Things aren’t black and white,’ Tyler tells him.
"One kiss – and then I'll leave"
“I know that,” is Aled’s reply, “But you can still kiss me – one kiss – I’ll leave then.  Is that too much to ask?”
Tyler is making a big mistake . . .
Tyler stupidly agrees, and before very long, Aled removes his T-shirt.
. . . and seems well aware of this . . .
Although Tyler has his doubts about this, he removes his wedding ring
. . . but still it does not stop him
and places it on the bedside table, by the photo of him and Iolo.
Colin looks under the till
In the shop, Colin is frantically searching for something when Garry comes in, enquiring if he is enjoying the Glyndwr,
"What's wrong, Col?"
and wonders what is wrong.   “It was here a minute ago!” Colin rages,
"I put it here, next to the till!"
“The cash – I took it out of the till to count it.   I put it here, next to the till! Gwern came in – he wanted some chocolate – I went out the back to get it, and –
'That's why he left in such a hurry"
“that’s why he left in such a hurry.”
"Watch what you're saying – he wouldn't do that!"
Garry resents the accusation that Gwern stole the money;  “Watch what you’re saying – he wouldn’t do that!”
"Money doesn't walk, Garry!"
Colin says that he has not left the counter since Gwern left – and money does not walk;  “I’m sorry, Garry, but it’s the only thing that makes sense,” he concludes,
Garry is about to leave the shop
and Garry leaves the shop.
"She's determined to split us up"
Debbie informs Gwyneth, “She’s determined to split me and Mark up – for ever this time.”
"Give things time to settle down"
She is told to give things time to settle down, and give Mark time to miss her, but she decides, “I’ll have to try and meet him alone, just the two of us.”   She is warned not to raise her hopes.
"I'm going out for a walk to clear my head"
Debbie is going out for a walk to clear her head, and as she goes Garry comes in.
"Do you want to have dinner with us, Dad?"
“Do you want to have dinner with us, Dad?” asks Gwern, “I’m making salad!’   Garry reminds him of when he went to the shop earlier,
"You didn't pick up some money by mistake?"
wondering whether he picked up some money by mistake, and he answers, “No.”
"And you thought Gwern had something to do with it?"
When Gwyneth learns that Colin has lost a few hundred pounds, she is outraged that he thought Gwern had anything to do with it.   Gwern is so upset that he walks out of the back door, followed by his mother.
"Look what I found!"
At that moment Colin rushes in through the front door, full of apologies;  “Look what I found!” he exclaims, brandishing the money.
The police are still guarding the salon
Debbie walks along the street, past the two constables guarding the salon, and as she reaches the chippy,
Debbie sees Mark on the phone
she sees Mark, who is speaking to Ricky on the phone.
"I just wanted to see if everything was all right"
“I was just phoning to see if everything was all right, and how you were getting along.”
He walks straight past Debbie
He walks straight past Debbie, who looks upset.
"It would be a good idea for you to get up!"
Tyler jumps out of bed, telling Aled that he is going for a shower;  “I think it would be a good idea for you to get up,” he says.
"Spoilsport!"
Aled describes him as a spoilsport
He looks at the photo of Iolo and Tyler
and looks again at the photo of Iolo and Tyler.
Iolo has just arrived outside . . .
Outside the front door, Iolo has just returned home, and is about to go into  number 7, when he receives a phone call.
. . . but an urgent job stops him going inside
He says that he has finished for the day, but agrees that he will sort out a problem, which should not take long, so does not go into the house.
"I wanted to buy you this chocolate, Mam!"
Gwern is telling his mother, “I was worried you wouldn’t like dinner, and I wanted to buy this – it’s your favourite!”   She says that she believes him, and there is no need to worry.
"Colin has something to tell you"
Garry announces that Colin has something to tell him;  “I owe you an apology, boy –
"I'm sorry for making such a fuss"
“I’m sorry for making such a fuss, but I found the money, behind the counter, under a pile of magazines.”
"Idiot!   Get your facts right, before accusing my son!'
Gwyneth describes him as an idiot, pointing out that he should have been sure of his facts before accusing her son.   Again he expresses how sorry he is,
"I think I ought to go"
and thinks he had better go.
Then Gwyneth demand an apology from Garry for accusing Gwern of stealing;
"I didn't accuse him"
he stresses that he did not make an accusation, but was trying to find out what had happened.   “I told Colin that Gwern would never do such thing.”
"You've upset him now!"
“You’ve upset him now!” Gwyneth roars,
"Stop shouting at each other!"
and Gwern tells them to stop shouting at each other.
"You've made things worse again!"
Garry says that she has made things worse again,
"Don't you blame me!"
but Gwyneth is incensed that he is blaming her
"Perhaps I could have handled that better"
He admits that he could have handled things better;  “But Gwern’s right – we have to stop all this arguing for his sake.”
Gwyneth is in agreement with that
This is also what she wants to do.
Kath and Greta are in the Deri . . .
Kath and Greta are in the Deri, and Cassie is of the opinion that Greta should not be eating crisps;
. . . and Greta is enjoying her crisps
“A few crisps never harmed anyone,” Kath replies.
As soon as Debbie sees Kath, she goes out again
Debbie comes in, but as soon as she sees Kath, she turns round and goes out again;
"That's the best place for her – out on the street!"
“That’s the best place for her – out on the street!” Kath snarls, but Cassie feels sorry for her,
"Gwyneth said that Mark had an affair"
after Gwyneth told her that Mark had an affair.
"Oh, she told you that, did she?"
“Oh, she told you that, did she?” says Kath and then continues that she might as well tell Cassie the truth.
"Debbie had the affair – and guess who with?"
“Mark’s not the one who had the affair – Debbie had the affair – guess who with? Who put a roof over her head – and who knows what else?   Cassie, it’s obvious – think about it – Debbie and Gwyneth!”
"What – Gwyneth?"
Cassie is quite incredulous.
"Just a bit of a crisis"
Dani asks Garry where he has been, and he explains there has been a bit of a crisis, but everything is OK now;  he will explain later,
The police contact Garry
but then has a phone call from the police.
"I see – right – thank you"
“I see – right – thank you,” he says, and advises Dani, “They’re not going to charge me with causing the explosion –
"We can start to make plans now, to move on"
“we can start to make plans now, to move on.
Dani does not seem so enthusiastic
She agrees, but not very enthusiastically;
Garry gives her a hiug
he gives her a hug.
"I thought you were getting up!"
Tyler returns from his shower, and finds Aled still in bed;  “I thought you were getting up!” he moans,
"I'm too comfortable"
but Aled is too comfortable.   “Stop messing around, OK?” snarls Tyler.
Then he hears a knock at the door, and he instructs Aled to get up, but not to come downstairs until he is told.
Kath brings Greta home
Clad only in a towel, Tyler opens the door to Kath, who has brought Greta home;  he explains that he has just got out of the shower, and pays Kath for looking after Greta.
"If you want me to babysit, just give me a ring"
If you want me to babysit next week, just give me a ring,” she tells him, and says goodbye to Greta;
"So long, my little pudding!"
“Auntie Kath’s going – so long, my little pudding!”
"You look rather pale . . ."
Just as she goes out of the door, Iolo comes in, and thinks that Tyler looks rather pale,
"You've been overdoing things!"
suspecting that he has been overdoing things.
"Can you go and get me some paracetamol?"
Iolo is about to go upstairs, but Tyler makes an excuse that they have run out of paracetamol;  “Can you go and get me some?” he asks,
"Can I visit the toilet first?"
but Iolo would like to visit the toilet first.
"Please, Iol, my head's splitting!"
“Please, Iol – my head’s splitting!” Tyler begs,
Off they go to the shop
so Iolo goes, and takes Greta with him.
As soon as the door closes, Tyler instructs Aled to come downstairs quickly;
"I was sure Iolo was coming upstairs!"
he was convinced that Iolo was coming up, and wants to know when they will be seeing each other again.
Tyler cannot wait to get him out of the back door
Tyler agrees to text him, and after a farewell kiss, Aled leaves via the back door.
